Kiss of Life enters on the stage with an intoxicating energy that captures The Novo in Los Angeles. Los Angeles fans cheer in expectation as Kiss of Life open the night with “Get Loud,” “Igloo,” and “Bad News.” This electric three song opening bring the energy of the night up and prepares the audience for a memorable night.
Kiss of Life is a girl group originally from South Korea. Natty, Belle, Julie, and Haneul debuted as Kiss Of Life in July of 2023. The name “Kiss Of Life” represents the girl group’s main goal, which is to breathe a new life into the music industry. The four members shocked the world with their first single “Shhh,” bringing a maturity that is not commonly seen in the debut space of South Korean Pop music. To further prove the girls’ talents, their debut EP Kiss Of Life features a solo song from each of the four members. Since the summer of 2023, these four girls have taken over the South Korean music scene and gathered international acclaim. International fans are in love with the maturity of KIOF and cannot get enough of the music.
After the energetic opening of the night, the girls greeted the audience and expressed their gratitude. “Isn’t it getting hot in here with all of Kissy’s cheers?” Haneul asked the other members. KIOF made sure to make every section of The Novo feel seen, they made sure to give attention to every fan in the audience. After their greeting, they left the stage to swap out the outfits. Between the setlists, the members had recorded a skit for their fans (named “KISSY”) as if they were backstage with the girls. The experience allowed the audience to lean into an intimate atmosphere, feeling closer to KIOF than ever.
Kiss of Life went through many of their popular songs throughout the night. Fan favorites “Sticky,” “Midas Touch,” and “Shhh” were performed to a roaring crowd. “Nobody Knows” was performed as a part of a special stage where the members picked an audience member and invited them onto stage. The girls performed “Nobody Knows” towards the fan and provided fan service for the audience to experience. The height of the night was when KIOF sang “Too Many Alex,” leading the crowd in song together.
During their final words on stage, KIOF spoke some very heartfelt words to KISSY. Natty said, “I’ve been a trainee for a long time and being here on stage is a dream come true. I will never forget this moment.” Through encouraging cheers from the fans, Julie said, “The size of the venue doesn’t matter; the energy we share today is the brightest it’s going to be.” As the concert came to its close, Natty added, “This is just the beginning.”
Every moment of Kiss of Life’s concert in L.A. was memorable. If there were any non-fans in the audience, they were made instant KISSY. Every song was executed to perfection and the love KIOF had for their KISSY was overflowing. As the Kiss Road continues in Europe, Los Angeles fans will continue to support KIOF as they grow through their career.
