Xikers leaps onto the L.A. stage with their second world tour. Bold red filled the stage and all ten members jumped onto the scene. As the formation took shape, Minjae raised his mic and screamed “Xikers!” to kick off the night.
Since their debut in 2023, Xikers has set themselves apart from the K-Pop industry with their unique sound and style. Their first EP House of Tricky: Doorbell Ringing, took Korea and the world by storm, charting on both domestic and global charts. Xikers’ music is a vibrant mix of pop-punk, hip-hop, and EDM, reflecting their experimental spirit and dynamic sounds. Pairing that with their incredible performance and dance skills, they are a group to remember. Xikers have consistently grown and diversified in their music, blending genres and concepts to captivate their global audience.
The unique sound which Xikers makes is mostly drawn from Pop-Punk, Hip-Hop, and EDM. All three of these genres lend themselves to a dynamic performance, allowing choreography to shine alongside the music and lyrics. With every release since their debut, Xikers has shown their growth and incredible skills. Each member has their strengths, but they work extremely well together as a whole group, blending seamlessly between dance styles and creating visual imagery which can only be experienced live.
The night started with a strong entrance into “Xikey,” a powerful opening song with a dramatic dance to go along with it. Xikers kept the first part of the night energetic with “Red Sun,” “Oh My Gosh,” and “BACK OFF.” Their limitless strength continued on through the night as they went into “WITCH,” “Koong,” and “Doorbell Ringing.” The energy was so magnetic that Junmin remarked, “Your guys’ energy is crazy!”
Each member had a chance to show their talents. Between their large group performances, Xikers took moments for certain members to shine. Minjae, Sumin, and Yechan performed “Canvas” (a KQ Fellaz 2 piece) in an original three-part rap. Jinsik, Hyunwoo, Junghoon, and Seeun sang an emotional cover to “Holy” (originally by Justin Bieber). Finally, Hunter, Yujun, and Junmin performed an electric dance cover to “Ring-a-Ling” (originally by Tkay Maidza). This allowed the audience to see how distinct each member is and how perfect they all work together as a whole.
Throughout the whole show, Xikers was able to perform at 100% capacity. Their energy never wavered, their vocals stable, and their dance skills never faltered. It was truly impressive the amount of training and dedication the members put into their tour. Fans (lovingly referred to as “ROADY”) helped Xikers keep their energy up with fan chants, shouts of encouragement, and singing along to “We Don’t Stop” and “DO or DIE.” Both Xikers and ROADY displayed incredible resilience into the night. Xikers never left their audience unsatisfied with their performance. All of the members made sure to pay attention to their fans and make them feel seen.
At the end of the night, Xikers took the energy to a new level. They brought ROADY to an intimate part of their discography by performing “Moonwalk,” “Break a Leg,” and “Sunny Side.” The fans loved every second of this special experience, knowing that Xikers will always be there as long as ROADY will be. Minjae took a moment to thank the audience and say, “Today made me so happy. I wish I could turn back time to do it all again.” The members all held up a flag that had “Thank you for joining Xikers on this long journey” as a message to their audience.
Endless energy, powerful performance, and rowdy ROADY. Xikers made their mark once again in Los Angeles. From start to finish, the show was pure adrenaline and left the fans ready for the group’s return. Xikers didn’t just breathe in LA, they set it on fire.
