The Sinclair, nestled in the heart of Cambridge, Massachusetts, provided an intimate setting that perfectly complemented the nostalgic evening of pop-punk when The Early November and Hit the Lights took the stage. With its cozy yet spacious layout, the venue created a welcoming environment for all in attendance on July 19, 2024.
After minor technical difficulty, Hit the Lights wasted no time revving up the crowd. From the moment the band took the stage their infectious energy vibrated throughout the venue. Old school favorites like, “Save Your Breath” and “Bodybag” had fans singing along at the top of their lungs. Towards the end of their set they announced a new album will be releasing soon and that they will be back in Boston which left the audience roaring with excitement.
As The Early November stepped into the spotlight, they brought with them a different but equally captivating energy. Known for their emotional lyrics and dynamic instruments, the band dived into a setlist that spanned their career, from early hits to tracks off their latest album. Frontman Ace Enders’ raw vocals and glowing stage presence resonated deeply with the audience, creating poignant moments amidst the high octane-performance. Songs like “Decoration” and “Ever So Sweet” evoked nostalgia and heartfelt connection, showcasing the band’s ability to blend vulnerability with powerful musicality.
