Brighton Music Hall came alive with the blended sounds of pop punk and rock as Taylor Acorn and World’s First Cinema took the stage on April 20, 2024. Both acts delivered spellbinding performances that left the audience in awe.
Kicking off the night, World’s First Cinema set the tone with their infectious blend of pop rock. From the moment they stepped on the stage their energy was infectious, electrifying the crowd and setting the scene for an unforgettable evening. The band just released their new deluxe EP, Palm Reader (Silver Screen Edition), on April 12 via Fearless Records and they made sure to include some of those tracks in their setlist for the night.
As the final notes of World’s First Cinema’s set faded away the audience eagerly anticipated the arrival of Taylor Acorn. When she finally took the stage the crowd erupted with excitement. She started the night off strong with her track, “Gray,” with no signs of slowing down she went right into her beloved songs, “Wishing You Hell,” and “I Think I’m in Love.” Even after announcing she hadn’t been feeling well, Taylor’s commanding stage presence from her heart wrenching ballads to her pop anthems, showcased her passion as an artist and her resilience to put on an incredible show even when she’s not feeling her best.
With her unparalleled talent, boundless energy and unwavering passion, Taylor showed Boston exactly why she’s a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.
