On a chilly February night in central Massachusetts, the Worcester Palladium was packed with metalcore fans who gathered to witness a powerhouse lineup featuring Silent Planet and supporting bands. The atmosphere was already buzzing with anticipation when Johnny Booth kicked off the night. From the moment they stepped on stage, they unleashed a storm of heavy riffs and guttural screams that set the tone for what was to come.
Aviana was next to bring their signature sound of melodic metal-core to the Palladium stage. The Swedish natives charmed the audience with a set full of aggressive guitar riffs and Joel’s soaring vocals. Joel capped off their performance by stating, “This is one of the best crowds we’ve played to. You can ask anyone that I don’t take saying that lightly.”
Following Aviana, Australian heavy metal band Thornhill took the stage. Their dynamic set showcased a perfect balance of melodic hooks and breakdowns. Frontman, Jacob, owned the stage with confidence drawing the attention of everyone in the room.
After much anticipation, it was time for Silent Planet to step into the spotlight. Known for their thought-provoking lyrics and progressive sound, the California-based band delivered a mesmerizing performance from start to finish. Frontman Garrett’s passion and stage presence drew the audience into a night of raw emotions. The band’s atmospheric soundscapes truly take you out of reality and into another world.
