Sarah Kinsley delivered an unforgettable performance at the House of Blues in Dallas, TX, on September 25th as part of The Escaper Tour. Setting the stage for the evening, Alix Page opened with an acoustic set, captivating the audience with her soft, delicate voice. The crowd was entranced, swaying gently as they listened to Page’s melodies.
After much anticipation, Kinsley finally took the stage, adorned with a black dress. The audience’s eyes followed her as she gracefully spun around on the stage. Kinsley began the show with “Lovegod” from her 2023 EP, Ascension. The voices of the crowd echoed throughout the venue as they sang along. Kinsley was awestruck by their energy and complimented them for their enthusiasm.
Toward the end of the show, Kinsley gave the audience a choice between two songs. Torn between choosing “Hills of Fire” and “What Was Mine,” the crowd, indecisive, asked for both. The singer was elated upon hearing their request. Kinsley shared that the Dallas audience was the first to ask for both, therefore, she was happy to oblige.
I loved every minute of this show. My favorite part was watching the audience be fully immersed in the music. I noticed a couple at the back of the venue dancing together as they let the music consume them. It was heart-warming to see how music can impact people. It was clear that Kinsley’s music was special to this couple.
Kinsley is a charismatic artist who graces everything she touches with elegance. This was my first time being exposed to her artistry and I can confidently say that I look forward to hearing more from her. I am honored to have gotten this opportunity and I cannot wait to see what else Sarah Kinsley accomplishes.
