Levitate Flannel Jam, held on October 12, 2024, at the Marshfield Fair grounds, was an extraordinary celebration of music, community and the vibrant spirit of autumn. The venue, nestled in a picturesque setting, provided the perfect fall backdrop for this all-day festival.
The lineup featured eight artists, showcasing a mix of local talent and well-known acts, including Evan Honer, Birdtalker and Hans Williams, all of whom brought their own unique sound across the two stages. Hailing from Duluth, Minnesota, bluegrass-influenced folk band Trampled By Turtles closed out the festival. They played a slew of all their hits and even surprised the audience with a guest appearance by Zach Bryan during their performance of “Revival,” which made for a memorable night.
In addition to the music, the festival showcased a variety of local artisans and food vendors. From delicious food trucks serving everything from gourmet loaded baked potatoes to fall-inspired treats like apple cider donuts, to stalls featuring handmade crafts, there was something for everyone. The autumn decorations throughout the fairgrounds added to the cozy seasonal feel.
Overall, Levitate Flannel Jam was a delightful experience that captured the essence of music, community and the fall season. It’s a must visit event for anyone looking to enjoy wonderful music and fall culture, and I’m already looking forward to attending again next year!
