Tinashe and Raveena brought the MATCH MY FREAK world tour to Dallas, Texas at the South Side Ballroom. 

I loved Raveena’s set. Her softer, soothing music was the perfect opener to warm up the crowd as they trickled into the venue. She had a beautiful little set up on stage, as visually dreamy as her vocals sound.

Tinashe was met with a crowd that more than matched her energy. She had wonderful backup dancers that emphasized her own movement, and a huge screen lit up with fun video clips and bits and pieces of lyrics. Tinashe finished her set on a high note with a banger of a performance of “Nasty” to a crowd that screamed every word of the song right back to her. 

Overall, it was a fun night, and I’m sure that the next time either of these artists come back to Dallas, it’ll be in bigger venues to an even bigger crowd.
