Cancel Your Plans: MICO Leads The Anthem Of Young Adults Everywhere

Deep in the heart of Los Angeles, MICO opens his Cancel Your Plans tour at the Echoplex. After the major heat wave that swept Los Angeles just a week prior, MICO brought it back with a night full of energy. He returned to L.A. with new songs and renewed passion to share with his fans.

Haiden Henderson opened the night with an electric and intimate set. He is a self proclaimed one-man boy band, creating a fantastic mood for MICO to enter into. Henderson is joining MICO on nine of his stops, and the fans could not be happier with this pairing. Henderson owns the stage with just himself and his drummer, working the crowd like a seasoned professional and elevating the mood.

As the moon shines, MICO jumps out on stage with “glhf<3,” a song from his most recent upcoming album Internet hometown hero. The crowd surges towards the stage and cheers to give MICO and his band life. MICO has a knack for creating anthemic songs that an entire nation can sing along to. His voice rang clear through the audience as he lead his miniature army into “better,” “lie lie lie,” and “Idontwannaknowyou!”

On the stage of the Echoplex, MICO is joined by his band members. Raffaele, Jason Khater, and Matt Oliver are no strangers to the energy that MICO brings. Oliver sports an alien abduction blow-up costume and plays the drums at the same time. MICO and his band are able to blend together seamlessly, as if they have been playing together for over a decade. The sound they are able to produce creates this atmosphere that can only be experienced live.

MICO continues his set with internet-viral songs like “down!,” “cut my hair,” and “HOMESICK.” The crowd sings along to these, as the fans know the lyrics well to be a part of MICO’s choir. He ends the set with a heartfelt goodbye to his L.A. fans, promising to return. MICO is a beloved name in L.A., and his fans are willing to wait for him to come back with even more music.
