American Idol Winner Phillip Phillips debuted the second part of his “Drift Back Tour” along with The Jed Craddock on February 22 at The Aztec Theatre in San Antonio, Texas!
The Jed Craddock Band, with their infectious soul-pop energy, set the stage ablaze at 8:00 P.M., truly making it their own! Their 6-piece setlist included original songs such as Cake and Love Me Crazy, where you could feel the band’s passion through each note that was played. With Joey Berrios on the bass, Jacob Kyle on the guitar, Chris Doege as the drummer, and Jed Craddock as the lead vocalist, they finalized their performance by taking a picture with the crowd. Even though locals can catch the band playing shows throughout San Antonio and surrounding areas, they clearly are destined for more!
After winning the eleventh season of American Idol in 2012, Phillip Phillips has headlined seven tours and released four studio albums throughout his career! Continuing with “The Drift Back Tour,” he immediately seized the crowd’s attention, playing fan favorites, including Dancing With Your Shadows, Gone, Gone Gone, and the performance wasn’t complete without playing Home. Phillip truly had the best time on stage playing alongside bandmates Bobby Steinfeld on the keyboard, bassist Jared Alexander, Evan Scott Penza on the guitar, and Vincent Williams on the drums. His stage presence is a testament to his love of music, from taking the time to reply to every single “I love you!” that was yelled out to the way he would move with the music.
The night was truly memorable, leaving a lasting impact on all. Phillip went out of his way to create a genuine connection with the audience and even took pictures with fans after his set ended. The Jed Craddock Band beamed with appreciation to their newfound fans for the opportunity to tour with Phillip! Even looking back months later, this show was unlike any other, with unforgettable music, heartfelt interactions, and a shared love of music between everyone alike.
