Turnstile Bring Hardcore Energy to Suffolk Downs

Turnstile’s set at Suffolk Downs felt like a wild burst of color and energy on an otherwise normal Saturday night in September. From the opening notes, the band had the entire crowd bouncing and shouting, their music pulsing across the open field. “Seein’ Stars” shimmered under a disco ball glow, transforming the stage into a kaleidoscope of lights and sound. With support from Mannequin Pussy, Speed and Jane Remover, the line-up felt perfectly curated – loud, fiery and fiercely joyful.

The venue itself added to the adventure. Suffolk Downs offered a wide-open, festival-like sprawl that made the show feel larger than life – with plenty of space to dance, relax on the grass or soak it all in. Airplanes soared overhead, adding a unique backdrop to the night sky. The crowd’s energy lit up the entire field, transforming the wide open grounds into a shared celebration where the music and atmosphere blended into something unforgettable.

Turnstile transformed Suffolk Downs into their playground and the fans embraced every shining moment. During “Birds,” fans jumped onto the stage to dance alongside the band before diving back into the crowd, adding to the joyful chaos. It was the kind of night that proved Turnstile isn’t just a band to watch – they’re an experience to be lived.
