On February 24th, 2025, Catch Your Breath took over Baltimore Soundstage in Baltimore MD, delivering a high-energy set to a sold-out crowd. Hailing from Austin, Texas, the rising metalcore band has been gaining serious momentum, and their stop in Baltimore on the Broken Souls Tour was a clear reminder that their fanbase is growing and showing up ready to throw down.
The night kicked off with sets from If Not For Me, Archers, and The Funeral Portrait. Each brought their own energy to the stage, warming up the crowd and setting the tone for what was to come. The Funeral Portrait, in particular, stood out with one of the most intense and dynamic performances of the night. Judging by the crowd’s reaction, it was obvious a lot of fans were there for them just as much as the headliner.
By the time Catch Your Breath hit the stage, the room was packed wall to wall. They opened with “Ghost Inside The Shell,” a track with an eerie, cinematic intro reminiscent of Squid Game that had the crowd going crazy. From there, they launched into fan favorites like “Mirror,” “Criminal,” and “21 Gun Salute,” each one met with nonstop movement in the pit and voices shouting back every lyric.
Midway through the set, they slowed things down with the ballad “Good in Goodbye,” giving the crowd a moment to catch their breath as their cell phone lights lit up the venue. But the pause didn’t last long. They closed the night with back-to-back favorites “Dial Tone” and “Shame on Me,” before returning for an encore with “Y.S.K.W.” from their Shame on Me album.
From start to finish, it was the kind of night that reminds you why live music hits different—mosh pits, crowd surfers, and fans screaming until their voices gave out. Catch Your Breath wraps up the U.S. leg of their tour later this month before heading overseas, and if this show was any indication, they’re only getting started. If you haven’t yet, give them a listen and make a point to catch them live.
