Supporting their latest album, You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To, American hardcore band Knocked Loose tore up the stage at the Oakdale Theatre Dome in Wallingford, Connecticut. With supporting bands Drain and Hatebreed setting an explosive tone for the evening. 

Sammy, lead vocals for Drain, immediately threw his mic into the crowd followed by himself. His energy and stage presence was extremely captivating. Metalcore veterans, Hatebreed, followed with an equally hyped up set leaving the entire crowd eagerly anticipating the headliners. 

After much anticipation around 10 pm the lights of the theater dimmed and Knocked Loose graced the stage. Everything from stage presence to lighting and production was top notch. Lead vocalist, Bryan Garris, knows how to capture the audience’s attention and keep it for the full hour long set. The band’s 18 song set list included everything from new albums to deep cuts, satisfying fans of all varieties. The energy in the venue was at an all time high and didn’t waver all the way from their first track to their last. During their encore Bryan announced that their single, “Suffocate (featuring Poppy)” was nominated for a grammy which is not only huge for Knocked Loose themselves but for hardcore and metalcore in general. 

All in all November 9, 2024 at the Oakdale Theatre Dome in Connecticut was one to remember. Every band that crossed the stage that night brought something unique and memorable in their own ways. Knocked Loose also reminded us why they’re currently taking over the scene with such force and they don’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.
