DIY pop-punk duo, Origami Angel, brought their trademark high-energy, emotionally charged performance to Big Night Live on November 21, 2024. With its large stage and intimate vibe, the venue provided the perfect backdrop for the night. 

One of Origami Angel’s most impressive aspects of their performance is their ability to fill the space with sound. For a band of their size, consisting of just two members, the sound was remarkably full and dynamic. Big Night Live’s acoustics were kind to the duo’s fast paced, riff driven style, allowing for the punch of the drums and the intricacies of the guitar to shine through. The venue came alive, so much so, that the closer you got to the stage you could physically feel the energy of the crowd. 

The duo’s songwriting strikes a delicate balance between irreverent humor and deep introspection, and it’s this dichotomy that makes their live show so compelling. With a carefully curated setlist of deep cuts and all their hits, the night was just one massive sing along. For fans of fast guitars, math rock and catchy melodies, Origami Angel’s performance is an unmissable event.
