With her eccentric dance moves, lustrous stage presence, and beautiful voice, Audrey Nuna rocked the Echoplex in Los Angeles, California. Performing songs from her new album, TRENCH, Audrey fused the worlds of nostalgia and the future, bringing her unique take on R&B, rap, and electronic music to the stage.
Audrey Nuna, a Korean American singer, has been performing since she was a young soul. At just 10, she sang at the US Open and soon after began creating music and sharing covers online. Growing up in New Jersey, where most families were white and American, she often felt like an outsider; her peers couldn’t always relate to her background, lifestyle, or even simple pleasures like food. But that sense of difference only pushed her to embrace her true self. She found her place on stage, performing in musicals and choirs, and began experiencing the unique realities of a creative life.
Audrey was incredibly grateful to her fans, you could feel the appreciation in the room as she thanked everyone for being there. Performing her entire new album, Audrey captivated the audience with catchy, melodic tunes like “Doggie Pound” and “Dance Dance Dance,” as well as her R&B track “Suckin Up.” Her unique ability to blend multiple genres is what draws such a diverse fan base, a fact that was evident in the audience, which included a mix of different music lovers, from rockers to R&B enthusiasts.
