Boston’s Paradise Rock Club was graced with a night of progressive metalcore mastery on June 1, 2024, when ERRA took the stage supported by Make Them Suffer, Void of Vision and Novelists. Together the lineup ignited Paradise Rock Club with a fiery display of talent and passion.
Hailing from Paris, Novelists were first to bring the heat. Front woman, Camille Contreras, wasted no time getting the crowd amped up and giving a taste of what was to come for the remainder of the evening. Void of Vision and Make Them Summer followed Novelists’ performance and showed no sign of slowing down. All three bands were pros at immersing the venue in a swirling vortex of heavy riffs and haunting melodies.
As the night continued and the lights dimmed, ERRA commanded the stage with an electrifying presence. The band’s technical precision and raw energy were on full display as they effortlessly transitioned between crushing breakdowns and softer melodies. From the moment they stepped on stage it was clear they were there to leave their mark and prove why they’re at the forefront of this genre.
The venue itself only added to the experience with its intimate atmosphere, allowing the band to truly immerse the crowd in their performance. Throughout the night there was a tangible sense of unity in the air – a feeling that we were all in this moment together.
