ENHYPEN is a K-Pop boy group that debuted under BELIFT LAB on November 30th, 2020 with the mini album, BORDER: DAY ONE. The boy group consists of seven members: Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki. Their group name is inspired by a combination of an en dash and a hyphen which connects two words together. This represents the members desire to connect with one another and grow together. On October 9th, 2020, ENHYPEN revealed their fandom name – ENGENEs. The fandom name symbolizes the fans’ role as the engines that drive ENHYPEN forward. In addition, the name takes inspiration from the term “gene” representing the shared DNA between ENHYPEN and ENGENEs, signifying the mutual growth between the two.
On November 17, 2023, ENHYPEN released their 5th mini album ORANGE BLOOD which debuted at No.4 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album sold over 1.8 million copies within a week of its release. The lead single “Sweet Venom” is accompanied by a music video which has accumulated around 36 million views. Watch it here.
