On June 11, 2024, 6LACK made a memorable stop at The Aztec Theatre in San Antonio, TX, for his “No More Lonely Nights Tour,” with DJ Tonee setting the perfect atmosphere for the evening!
At 8:15 p.m., the atmosphere changed as the lights transitioned from vibrant blue and red hues to white spotlights on DJ Tonee, signifying that it was time to get this party started. From the start, he was heavily engaged with the crowd, telling everyone to put their hands up and to make some noise. He played club favorites, hyping everyone up and energizing the venue!
After DJ Tonee closed out his set, 6LACK walked onto the stage accompanied by a drum introduction, and fans were buzzing with anticipation. The setlist was remarkable, starting off the evening with “Cold Feet” and concluding the night with “Since I Have a Lover.” His smooth yet haunting vocals took over The Aztec, where his performance was energizing yet intimate, showcasing his versatility as a musician.
One moment that stood out to fans was when he slowed down and expressed to the crowd that sometimes the best thing to do if you’re struggling is to talk about it. He opened up about how moments from his past and struggles with mental health led him to write “Talk,” which emphasizes taking the high road in letting go of your pride and becoming vulnerable to make the first step in healing by communicating about what you’re going through.
Throughout the night, the energy never waned, leaving fans wanting more even after his encore. 6Lack’s performance was more than just a concert; it was an unforgettable evening filled with a deep connection that left a lasting impact on everyone present.
